For this blog entry, I thank our daughter, Naphtalie, since it is from her January, 2014 blog that I am borrowing the pictures.
Daughter Naphy and I have worked together on my two books: His Majesty in Brokenness and Living in the Names of God. Jesus and I write the books and Jesus and Naphy (and my husband David too) produced them.
Naphy surprised me this Christmas with note cards with the 18 names of God from my new book. I love how she coordinated the colors on the book cover with the colors on the cards. I love, love, love each one of them.
Here is the book cover followed by the beautiful cards.
She may have to buy me another set (hint! hint!) since I’m having trouble parting with any one of them. THANK YOU, THANK YOU NAPHY at Scatter Joy Designs.
Hi Judy!
I was htrilled to see your beautiful page honoring the Lord and I absolutely fell in love with the cards your daughter made for you with the names of God. This is a dear part of my walk with Him…I LOVE to sing His names as He gives them to me! I have a heart for Jesus more than anything and my family (husband, also David, and four lovely daughters) are a gift. But my heart in all these is prayer, especially for Israel, america and the Nations. I have a Page of Facebook called Psalms for America dedicated to Him. Would it be okay if I used some of your daughter’s cards if I credit her by listing her name or web address? No pressure, would love to. Thank you for sharing, Judy, and may the Lord richly bless you as you live and dine on Him!
Hi Mendy –
This is Judy’s daughter Naphy Joiner writing. I read your message to my mom and I’m going to email you. Thanks for your sweet note!
Hi Judy Squier,
After going through email message, praising almighty God with the holy glorious name, I am really impressed, I prayed that almighty God will richly blessed you and empowered you for his gospel and revelation in the mighty name of Jesus. Secondly, I have testimony to share with you, I see God mighty in miraculous way, when calling his holy name, my needs are answered and prayer is heard urgent by using his holy, and he gives me some in the dream.
Very impressive graphics of the names of God. I am currently doing a Kay Arthur study titled, Lord, I Want to Know You. I taught this study many years ago and am revisiting it again as a refresher course.
Thank you for sharing these. They are precious! Press on, sister!!!
Melissa dear – thanks for writing! My journey with the names of God began with Kay Arthur’s book, which got me through some difficult times. So much so that i’ve recorded my own stories and Bible study. I will be doing a women’s retreat on 8 of the names in November so I am revisiting them… I live in Southern Oregon; where do you live? Hugs to you from another Lover of His Names
Wonderful post. Thank you for reminding our God’s majesty thro His powerful names. Nice pics BTW, I’d love to use them on my office desktop boasting our God 🙂
